Dear Readers, I would like to introduce a new canine writer, Hachi P. Brummel, a Pomeranian. We will be trading off writing from our unique perspectives, so I will be back for the Aug.- Sept. POST. Take it away, Hachi! Blessings, Jasper Cinnamon Bear Albright

This morning, while outside on my first "donation (potty) run", I met an intruder, a lady pitbull! She followed me back into the garage. When we appeared at the glass door to the house, Mom's eyes were as big as saucers: "OH NO!! HELP!". Mom opened the door just wide enough to let me in. Lady pitbull ran outside . Mom made a BIG MISTAKE! She tried to shut the outside door before lady pitbull could come back in. Mom was intstanly locked in an embrace, the likes of which she hadn't had in a long, long time!
Dancing Lady Love in the direction of the door, Mom grabbed a garden rake and pushed her out the door. After slamming it shut, a call to 9-1-1 was in order. Mom disgustedly said, "I've just been hugged intensely by a strange pitbull in my garage. It was NOT a pleasant experience". The operator replied, "I don't imagine it was". Animal Services came and apprehended Lady Love. She had crashed through my garden gate in order to get my attention! Wow, what a guy. Back in the house, I'm really walking tall. After all that excitement, I need a nap! Mom had the nerve to say, "Hachi, I know you are irresistable and handsome, but just cool your jets. You still need me to feed you and try to keep you safe".
