What is a Christian’s internal reality? One of the primary realities of being a Christian is that Jesus came to set us free. Another reality is that we have the Holy Spirit living inside of us.
We all want deliverance from all that afflicts our souls. In Christ, we can experience deliverance day by day from all of our sins. Oh, glory to God! If anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Christians have been crucified with Christ, and the old man has passed away.
One day, while attending a bible study, I heard a man say, “You are never more spiritual than you are scriptural.” I agree with this, for the bible says, “Let the Word of God dwell in you richly…” (Colossians 3:16). The word of God is true, no matter how “spiritual” we may feel any given day. As we choose to believe God’s holy Word, we can believe God has deliverance available for each and every problem we face. “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their trouble” (Psalm 34:17).
“Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen,” (Jude 1:24-25).
Believe Christ our Savior as He says to us: “ I will deliver you.”
