For A Time Such As This

I have to say that I was influenced by Ernie Moquin talking about "for a time such as this" on the prayer show Tuesday morning. (If you aren't familiar with the program, it's on Tuesdays and Fridays, 7 a.m., 98.7 FM, or online windsofpraise.com). Ernie was saying that it's TIME to not hold back and share the Gospel. So much is changing. No one knows but God when the end will take place, but things are looking pretty dicey.

Are you making the right choices these days? Not sure what the right choices are? Check out the Bible. Scott and I have been reading Proverbs aloud to each other in the mornings. Wow---how to treat your neighbor; your family; how to work; how to stay out of trouble. It's packed with wisdom, as is all of the Bible. God doesn't leave us high and dry after reading his Word. He is there to help us through our prayers., and fellow believers. He does ask us to forgive others, too, and he's ready to help us with that.

Not feeling like you are worth much? Read Amy Schones' article. God can use YOU. Again, make that choice to follow him.

I was amazed to receive notes from two prisoners who were handed the POST by a volunteer pastor at the jail. They both requested to have the POST mailed to them regularly. This is what we are here to do, folks. To minister and share the gospel with others. We all have our own styles and ways of doing it. People need to have hope, and feel cared for. Your own story or testimony of what God has done in your life may very much touch them.

Merry Christmas to you and yours,

Kelli
